Operation Round Up


Dunn Energy Cooperative is proud to promote our Operation Round Up campaign. With the Power of Change, Operation Round Up will help serve our communities in HUGE ways! Operation Round Up uses the power of cooperation to provide much needed funds for community projects, 501(C)3 organizations and not-for-profit groups within the Dunn Energy Cooperative service territory.

Beginning in January 2012, members who hadn't opted out started having their monthly energy bill rounded up to the next whole dollar amount. For example, if your monthly energy bill is $112.76, it will automatically round up to $113 and the extra $0. 24 will go to the Operation Round Up fund. Your contribution, along with the contribution of other Dunn Energy members, will be used for fund great local community service projects, like these!

Grant applications are now available. Grants will be awarded quarterly, in March, June, September and December each year. Grants will be awarded by a committee made up of community members, a Dunn Energy board member and an employee.

If you happen to notice the Round Up mid-year, and you do not want to participate, we will refund your contributions for the last year and opt you out of the program.

If you would like to Opt Out of the program, download and return the Opt Out Form. If you'd rather not download and print the form, simply go to the Contact Us page and send an email to our webmaster saying you'd rather not participate. Please include your account number and address.
